 A visit to a sacred place in sri lanka

                                  Anuradhapura is an ancient kingdom in sri lanka and it was the capital of sri lanka at pasr. Many great kings ruled Anuradhapura kingdom, so even today we can see many ruins in this city. Sacred bo tree is the heart of Anuradhapura district and it is believed as the oldest tree in the world. It brought by sangamitta thero at past. 

             


             

       Recently we visited Anuradhapura with my family members. There were many flower sellers and insence sticks sellers in front of the maingate of sacred bo tree. We bought a bunch of lotus, a packet of insence sticks and a bottle of coconut oil for offer. After  removing hats and shoes we entered to the sacred region. There were many foreigners and local tourists. There is a golden fence around  the bo tree. 

                     I felt a cold near the bo tree as the Tissa tank is close to the sacred bo tree. There were many crowd and most of them were worn white coloured costumes. Many old people were observing sit, I picked up a dried bo leaf and took several pictures by my camera. There are four doors to exit. Then we went to see Thuparamaya and many other ancient places. I saw several ruins too. In the evening we bathed in nuwara tank and finally we decided to come back home. When we were coming I sawa herd of elephant. It was an unique experience for me.

 It was the worst experience we had in life.  We are very sad about that.  My aunt died three months before covid grew up.  She also had a kidney problem.  She was very weak.  So she could not be saved.  She is like a mother to me. We called her 'suduamma'😍....  She is very kind and also  she is an innocent woman.  And humble.  She loves us so much.  And we love her too.  But we do not have that love today.  That love cannot be described in words.  She comes to us when we've sick.  She is with us in both happiness and sorrow.  She has come a long way from us today.  Very sad about that. It was the ugliest day of my life.😥 We are very sad and lonely without her.  Always remember her.  Be happy where you are.  We always love you♥♥♥.

These days 😍

 These are happy days.😍😍  Because I spent time with two of my friends, Anuradha and Sahasrika.  They came to our house after our low country class.  I came to our house that day and practiced with them.    The next day had our kathak class. That class lasted until the evening.  After that class they came back to our house.It was night when wegot home. We were very tired.  So we had dinner and went to bed.  The next morning we went to see our lake.  The lake was full due to the rain.  It's so beautiful.  We had a lot of fun there.  And we took a lot of photos.  It was a beautiful memory.  One of my friends went back to her house today..I hope we meet again like this.  And have fun like this♥♥♥
